- Welcome to my blog. I'm a professional artist whose work is mainly derived from the study of towns and cities. Light and shadow on buildings is a major fascination while colour and I wrestle regularly. I work mainly in oil paint, but am trying to revive my drawing practice. The Kastela restaurant reminds me of the Cafe American on the beach in Costa Rica. One of those magical places that screams "fresh fish" just by the architecture. That is a wonderful picture.
