Editor's Choice

The Side, with Snow (Oil on canvas, 36 x 36 ins)

I recently heard from The Artist magazine that they'd like to feature this painting as their Editor's Choice in the April edition. Of course I agreed, so more when the time comes.

That's a striking image, which immediately made me think of Escher's Still Life and Street:

" The Editor " may hide behind his/her title but He/She or IT has good taste. I've always liked that painting;it has a quality of stillness after snow and peace after the noise of traffic that is strangely soothing and that is all too likely to be very short lived.

Now lets see if that " Please prove you're not a robot" thing works. For, who among us can prove that He/She or It is not a robot?

Great stuff Harry. It's always been one I liked. I love your rooftops and chimney pots.
