Giving time for the Holy Island skyscapes to dry, I turned back to this balcony piece and finished it. On a day when the sun had mostly deserted us, it was lovely to revel in the colours.
May be the best of the balcony series, at least in my opinion.
Super! By the way, the balcony tarp hangs with weight - a testament to your draftsmanship. As far as the colors - I am always pleased to see a composition of pure hues, which makes me feel the sun.
And, there is extra skill involved when an artist can organize four strong colors together...that is the best part.
Welcome to my blog. I'm a professional artist working in oil, acrylic and drawing. I'm still very much a figurative painter aiming at some kind of modern representation. I believe in the continuing value of painting and follow in its long and honourable tradition.

Hi Harry
Hope you are keeping well.
I love this composition and of course your choice of colour which balances the painting.
All the best
