In this case, how true, how very true.
Will you paint while there?
I'm not overly enamoured of plein air painting - I get the results I'm after only in the studio. And to be honest, I find a first trip can only really be used to get the feel of the place. Sitting painting would not get me around to get to know the city. And finally - it was too bloody cold to sit around around anyway! Got some good photographs, though.
