Swiss Cheese Plant (pigment liner, A5 sketchbook)

Escaping from a thunderstorm, we found shelter in the Banys Arabs (the Arab Baths) in Palma. When it had passed, and before it returned, we had a chance to wander round the lovely garden outside the bath house. This was one of several flowering monsteras there - another wonderfully architectural plant!. It would have been really great to have been able to sit and draw in the garden but the weather, and time, was against me.

Thank you for providing the location details for Banys Arabs - somewhere I had heard of but never visited.
My glw and I are annual visitors to Mallorca (PP actually) but we've never found anyone who could tell us just where these Baths were to be found.
V.V. -- No, we didn't get to Alfabia. We only had the car for one day and had to drive around making the most of it in deteriorating weather.

Reminds me of my teaching days. When stuck for a still life one could always count on the trusty cheese plant to come to the rescue.
